Under the auspices
of the EUROPEAN BROADCASTING UNION (EBU)
and as part of the television programme
exchanges known as
"Eurovision," the EBU member
organizations in Austria (ORF), Belgium
(VRT), Bosnia-Herzegovina (PBSBIH),
Croatia (HRT), Cyprus (CYBC), Denmark
(DR), Estonia (EE/ETV), France (GRF/FT3),
Finland (YLE), the Former Yugoslav
Republic of Macedonia (MKRTV), Germany
(ARD/NDR), Greece (ERT), Israel (IBA),
Latvia (LTV), Lithuania (LRT), Malta
(MT/PBS) Romania (RO/TVR), Russia (ORT),
Slovenia (RTVSLO), Spain (TVE), Sweden
(SVT), Switzerland (SSR), Turkey (TRT)
and the United Kingdom (BBC) (24
countries), hereinafter referred to as
the "participants," have
decided, under the present Rules, to take
part actively in the 47TH EUROVISION SONG
CONTEST,
which will be held at Saku
Suurhall in Tallinn (Estonia) on 25 May
2002.
