Deen on a skiing excursion
A white weekend on Bjelašnica

Deen was satisfied with his first descend down the track, after a break of two and a half year, explaining that who masters the skill once never forgets it. He first stood on skis at three years old with his father's help.

"I can't explain how good I feel. I see now the kind of satisfaction I have been missing in the last two and a half years. I am my own worst enemy for not being able to set away a single day to go out onto the mountain," said Fuad Backović to his manager Bernarda Tolić, while coming close to the ski-lift in the rented skis and jackets

Between words he swallowed the clean air, wanting to cleanse his lungs of Davidoff cigarettes. He says how in the last 6 months he has had no free time. Beside being on the jury of the reality show OBN Supernova Music Talents, he was busy making a new album. He should be entering the studio in mid-February. Among the songwriters are foreigners Yaris, Martin Noakes, Valeria de Crous, Niki Growe, Manuel de Pepe, Marina Tucaković and Antonija Šola.

"It's hard for me to find an hour to relax. Even when I'd go visit friends for a coffee, we'd start talking about work," he says. Deen was satisfied with his first descend down the track, after a break of two and a half year, explaining that who masters the skill once never forgets it. He first stood on skis at three years old with his father's help. This was on Jahorina. Miniature skis were bough by his grandpa in Russia.

At the end of the ski weekend, Deen was in a good mood and confident that he has recharged the bateries for the upcoming responsibilities.

Famous Serbians and Montenegrins gearing up
Karleuša, Joksimović, Đogani fantastiko, Ceca Slavković...

'In two weeks Serbia is getting the singer who will, after a decade-long break, represent us at Eurovision. Strong favorites Čvorak and Ana Stanić didn't make it!

In about 15 days Serbia and Montenegro should have the artists who will, after more than a decade-long break, represent our country at the prestigious musical festival Eurovision. Even though last year for that same reason Beovizija was founded, because of the rules of Eurovision, which say that the right of selection the artist and song has only the festival organized by public television, there will be some changes made this year in the organization sense, so that this year the four best artists from the night of Beovizija, to be held on February 20th, will join the artists at the domestic Eurovision behind which are the heads of RTS and RTCG.

Out of a few hundred song received at the open call, ambitious Čeda Čvorak has submitted seven. The jury which made the selection of the songs had judged the compositions of the "Luna" frontman not to be good enough to be included on the shortlist. This year luck wasn't on Ana Stanić's side either, whose song was also rejected. As we found out, the new member of the City Records teams did not send the song to compete herself, but for it to be given to some other artist.

After some thinking whether to participate in a duet or not, Željko Joksimović and his never-officially-recognized better half will definitely perform solo. Although she is seen as one of the best performers of ballads, Leontina Vukomanović decided to go for a faster song this time. As we found out, Miss "Sreda" will performer in the Sava Center totally relaxed because the placing isn't very imporant, as long as her song starts making the round, becomes a hit and keep Leontina popular until the coming out of her fourth album. Those who have hear the song "Lane moje" (My Lamb) sung by Željko Joksimović are adamant about it becoming a big hit, and that he has big chances to represent us in Turkey.

Still, the title of the biggest favorite goes to Jelena Karleuša, whose participation at the competition part of Beovizija was confirmed a couple of days ago. A song made with the current world hits in mind, stage peformance brought to perfection and an attractive look seem like a good warranty that the ambitious lioness could represent us the best way. As we found out, after the official confirmartion of Jelena's confirmation, a few singer withdrew their songs, being afraid to compete with Miss Karleuša.

Until the official press conference of Beovizija and Evropesma, we reveal to you that the ticket for Istanbul will be a battle between "Đogani fantastiko," "Peti element," Željko Samardžić, Ivana Pavlović, Maja Nikolić and Ceca Slavković in a duet, as well as many others.

In Montenegro, a few months ago a jury was put together which immediately chose four artists to make songs for Evropesma. Other composers, lyricists and arrangers will have to send their works directly to Belgrade, going around RTCG, and that way drecreasing the chances of their songs to making it into the final competition.

Composer Mirsad Serhatlić, frontman of "Makadam," has decided that his song will be sung by young Montenegring singers Andrijana Božović & Marija Božović (no related). The second composer Dejan Božović will wrtie a song for the famel trio "Negre." Sergej Cetković wrote the music and melody to perform himself in Belgrade. Slobo Kovačević, living legend of Montenegrin music scene, reponsible for success of Doris Dragović and Oliver Dragojević, will attempt a comeback. He is working together with the most known Montenegring arranger Mirko Šćepanović on a song symbollically entitled "Evropa." Their song is to be sung by six singers, three males and three females.
