The 1994 final was a deviation from 1993's "Vas slager sezone," which was an open preselection. Alma and Dejan were chosen by a BHT selection committee and songwriters were invited to submit songs. Eight songs in total were accepted and Alma and Dejan sang them all. Afterwards, an inside-studio jury judged the songs.
