Welsh rockers
Funeral For A Friend were formed
from the ashes of the band January
Thirst after their two vocalists quit
the band in late 2001. The remaining band
members decided to start a new project in
early 2002, Funeral For A Friend
after incorporating current singer, Matt
Davies. After just a few months of the *new*
band being formed they had already recorded
their debut EP, Between Order &
Model. They got their breakthrough
during the summer of 2003 with single
Juneau, which entered the top 20
of the UK singles chart. Juneau
was a rerecorded and renamed version of their
earlier track Juno. Their success
continues with their latest album,
Casually Dressed & In Deep
Conversation riding high in the UK
album charts.
