United Kingdom Funeral For A Friend - Juneau Danny

Welsh rockers ‘Funeral For A Friend’ were formed from the ashes of the band ‘January Thirst’ after their two vocalists quit the band in late 2001. The remaining band members decided to start a new project in early 2002, ‘Funeral For A Friend’ after incorporating current singer, Matt Davies. After just a few months of the *new* band being formed they had already recorded their debut EP, ‘Between Order & Model’. They got their breakthrough during the summer of 2003 with single ‘Juneau’, which entered the top 20 of the UK singles chart. ‘Juneau’ was a rerecorded and renamed version of their earlier track ‘Juno’. Their success continues with their latest album, ‘Casually Dressed & In Deep Conversation’ riding high in the UK album charts.
