Even before he
submitted his song, Senol told me he was
looking to win with it. On the first couple
of listens, I didn't think much of it. But,
as often Worldbeat songs are, this one was a
big, big grower. It came to become my
personal favorite and our winner! Congrats
Senol on your second victory with Japan! :) A
nice enchanting ballad-uptempo mix charmed
most of us, it seems. The veterans came back
this time, as Miroslav gives Ukraine its best
placing yet and Evgenij continues on his
excellent record. And after some time, Bosnia
comes back into the mix. ;) Aviad rounds up
the top 5 with his song.
Nice bunch, folks. Definitely a WB that's
more accessible and mainstream, if I may say
so, than most others we've had, excluding
perhaps the early editions.
Now, everyone, we don't get much of a break
in order to squeeze WB24 in before the
holidays, so, get going and try to surprise
