-Wow - third win for Japan and Senol! Only the second country and player to accomplish this! And the first time a previous winning artist has won again! Good stuff, Senol! (Note though that apart from Danny in public jury 2, Japan received no 12 points!)

Robby and Slovakia were right behind, fighting till the last moment for the top spot. In third place is Giannis with a dramatic Hellenic tune, fourth is Sweden with a cool pop song and rounding out the top 5 is yours truly with the Bosnian song.

Now, time to enjoy the holiday season until we come back in mid-January. Looks like we will be doing the semifinals at the same time, so keep those entries coming, visit the 37th edition page. See ya next year, folks!

1 The Player
a Shall be a registered member of http://forum.eurobosniamp3.com.
b May play for a country other than their own, but is expected to have a broad knowledge of the local scene. All are expected to research before attempting this challenge.
c Shall not make their selection public until it is revealed to all in the game.
d Shall submit all required (song lyric + translation) and optional (artist and songwriter info, song background) information by the designated deadline.
e Shall send an MP3 or WMA to me at eurobosnia2000 at yahoo or eurobosnia at hotmail - or use yousendit.com/provide a link/upload to FTP.
f If there is more than one player per country, players shall rotate in order; players may also select a song and vote together.

2 The Song
a Shall have a release date in 2005 or 2006.
b Shall be original or a cover of a song from the same country.
c Covers of songs from former republics of SFRY and USSR are not considered foreign for those countries, provided the original was released before 1991.
d There shall be no restrictions on language or length of the song.
e Original lyric is required; include any language-specific symbols and transliterate into Latin script.
f English translation is required. No exceptions will be granted.
g Eurovision songs and national final songs (including covers) are not eligible for entry.
h Players are discouraged from entering international hits.
i Songs previously entered in WB (including covers, remakes and re-recordings of such songs) are not eligible for entry.

3 The Artist(s)
a Shall be a significant part of the local scene, i.e. the artist is from the same political, linguistic or cultural area and regularly releases records there; see 2c.
b Artists who have taken part in WB29 to WB35 cannot take part in WB35; no exceptions will be granted. Featuring artists are treated on a case-by-case basis.
c Players are encouraged to send info on the artist and the songwriters (and background on the song). Do not send pictures, but links are encouraged.

4 Voting
a All active players shall vote by giving 1-8, 10 and 12 points to their top 10 songs; players may not vote for their own song.
b Votes shall not be made public before final results are online, but shall be sent to «eurobosnia (at) hotmail.com» or through the voting form on main page of current edition.
c Votes will only be accepted 92 hours (4 days) after each semifinal is open; see rule 5a.
d Votes must be received by the designated deadline. If there is a problem, let me know in advance.
e Two public juries shall be assigned, each consisting of same number (±1) of passive players and observers.
f In case a player does not vote, the first public vote that does not include points for the player's song shall be used in the player's place. In cases where all public votes include points for the player's song, the public votes received first shall be used.

5 General
a Within 4 days following opening of each semifinal, players may point out facts - publicly or by e-mailing the organizer - that may disqualify entries for failing to comply with rules under 2 and 3 above. After 4 days, no entry or player will be penalized for breaking these rules.
b Each edition of Worldbeat shall feature a maximum of 36 countries (special editions excluded).
c The game will be split into two semifinals of up to 18 songs each.
d Top 7 of each semi advance to the final; in semis with 15 or more countries, top 8 advance to the final.
e Ties in the semifinals are not broken; all songs finishing in top 7 (8) qualify for the final.
f Ties for first place in final are not broken and all songs are proclaimed winners.
g Number of country preselections is set at maximum of four per edition.
h All concerns of regularity and compliance to the rules (other than rules 2 and 3) shall be brought solely to the organizer's attention via e-mail.
i All errors with song files, lyric and info pages shall be brought solely to the organizer's attention via e-mail.
j All rule suggestions and criticisms shall be brought solely to the organizer's attention via e-mail. No forum discussion unless initiated by the organizer.
k The organizer reserves the right to refuse any selection and request another or remove the country/player from the current game.
